I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to this, I gained a first-class BSc (hons) in Psychology from Newcastle University and a PhD from the University of Bristol, where I worked between the School of Psychological Science and the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit.
My research interests are focused on reproductive behaviour and women’s health. My PhD research applied Mendelian randomization to investigate causes and consequences of reproductive traits and behaviour (including mental health disorders). My current research interests include the relation of trauma and mental health disorders with women’s health over the life course, with a particular focus on experiences of sexual violence and cardiovascular health.
