Negin Nia
Events & Communications Specialist

Negin is our first ever Events & Communications Specialist who is in charge of leading all our knowledge translation initiatives including overseeing the Women's Health Blog, producing the Women's Health Interrupted podcast, newsletter, social media, conferences, and events. Before she took on this role, she was our Blog Co-coordinator.
Negin is also a multimedia journalist from Vancouver with an interest in reporting on health, social justice, and women's issues. Given her interest in this field, Negin spent the final year of her UBC Master of Journalism program creating an audio documentary on women's experiences of physical pain, race, and treatment in North America's hospitals.
