Danica Chang is a first-year MSc student in Medical Science at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine, under the supervision of Dr. Sofia Ahmed and Dr. Sandi Dumanski. Her research focuses on contraception, sexual function, and reproductive health in young women with chronic kidney disease and aims to help improve clinical treatment in this high-risk population. Danica recently graduated in 2020 from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Biological Sciences and remains motivated to pursue her goals of becoming a leader in women’s kidney and reproductive health.
