Brady Greening

Head Athletic Therapist

Edge School for Athletes

Discovery (Biological & Genetic Mechanisms)

Brady's entire athletic therapy career has focused on youth athletes in hockey, dance, soccer, figure skating and basketball. Her experience, professionalism, and knowledge as the Head Athletic Therapist of Edge School is wide ranging. Between working on the bench with hockey and basketball, spending hours to understand the world of dance, and years as a senior high sports medicine teacher have accumulated into an all-encompassing amount of experience that she leans on to provide the best experience for her patients. Brady's current research into female athlete physiology has been a welcome addition to her skill set and has had a major impact on the youth female athletes at Edge School.

Brady’s entire world has revolved around competitive sports and keeping athletes healthy and doing what they love. Drawing on her experience as a young competitive figure skater – who had to quit because of a preventable injury – Brady’s treatment philosophy focuses on educating youth athletes about their own bodies, so that they can be the key drivers in their athletic health, wellness and athletic career. She knows communication between parents, coaches and athletes is key for successful injury management, and for helping athletes return to play at the right time. For Brady, this is an important piece of the rehab journey and she will always take the time needed to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Connection and education is where Brady shines. Her ability to connect with her patients and to help them understand why they are experiencing the dysfunction and pain of their injury is the key to her success. She recognizes the fear of the unknown that athletes experience when injuries occur, and her goal is to always empower athletes with knowledge that will help them get back to 100% and prevent future setbacks.
