Brandon is an MSc student at the University of Calgary under the supervision of Dr. Sofia Ahmed. His research involves examining the effects of gender-affirming testosterone therapy on blood pressure and arterial stiffness in transmasculine and non-binary individuals. Brandon recently graduated in 2022 from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology, and is motivated to become an advocate for the incorporation of sex- and gender-based considerations in cardiovascular care and research in order to improve patient outcomes.
