Our cluster has quickly expanded. We’re a community of over 200 faculty, students and community partners that span 11 countries around the world. Because of this, we want to give our members a place where they can easily connect with one another to share research, find new collaborators or communicate with quick messages that would otherwise crowd your inbox.

Cluster members will be receiving an email invitation to join our Slack Workspace over the next few weeks. If you’re interested in being added to this Workspace, follow these steps to join:

  1. Open the invite email
  2. Click Join Now
  3. Enter your name
  4. Create your own password

Once you've completed these steps, you can access our Slack Workspace in the following ways:

  • From your browser: Head to www.slack.com and click the "Launch Slack" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
  • Download Slack as an application for your desktop computer, ipad or phone (Click here—> windows / mac)

Here are some of the ways being connected with us on Slack could help you:

Connect
  • Learn about opportunities to volunteer or work with the WHRC
  • Identify new collaborators, set up meetings to discuss project ideas or learn more about different fields related to women's health
  • Have direct contact with WHRC staff to ask questions
  • Create Slack Channels to help you and other members collaborate on a project
Get Support
  • Have direct contact with WHRC staff to help you find and apply for research grants
  • Reach out to WHRC staff to help you identify potential collaborators
  • Quickly connect with us if you're having trouble logging into an event
  • Share your work with us so we can promote it (Slack lets you attach documents in messages)
Grow
  • Stay up to date on WHRC professional development opportunities
  • Learn about new funding competitions
  • Share information with other cluster members that support their personal or professional growth
