Kristen Zuloaga
Dr. Zuloaga’s research focuses on how risk factors, such as prediabetes, obesity, cerebrovascular disease and menopause may alter pathology of dementia differently in each sex during aging.
With 20 years of experience in the sex differences field, Dr. Zuloaga currently serves as council member and education co-chair for the Organization for the Study of Sex Differences and on the editorial board for Biology of Sex Differences. She has authored 27 publications and received funding from National Institutes of Health grants and other sources at every stage of her career. Dr. Zuloaga is deeply committed to mentorship. She co-founded and co-directs the Postdoctoral Development Program at Albany Medical College.
