BIG News for the WHRC

March 14, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the Women's Health Research Cluster (WHRC) and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) are joining in an alliance for women’s health. Through this alliance, we have the privilege of working closely with womenmind™—a CAMH initiative that brings together a community of philanthropists and scientists committed to closing the gender gap in science. This strategic partnership is a significant step forward, advancing our capacity to cultivate sex and gender health equity worldwide by opening doors to new partnerships, opportunities for systemic change, and the facilitation of more innovative research. Working in tandem with CAMH, the WHRC is poised to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of women and girls worldwide.

Through our collaboration with the CAMH, we are proud to share that the Women's Health Research Cluster is receiving a $1M-donation from Manulife, which will generously fund our operations for the next 3 years. This transformative gift enables us to continue our vital work and explore new possibilities. We are deeply grateful to Manulife for this opportunity.

Rooted in our values, we remain devoted to improving the health of women and girls worldwide, and our vision, mission, and current programming will continue with a strong focus on multidisciplinary research. We invite you to learn more about CAMHwomenmind and Manulife, and to stay engaged with the WHRC as we embark on this new and exciting opportunity to expand our impact. In fact, we’ll be unveiling a new WHRC website and logo soon, so stay tuned!
