Register for Mind the Gap: Hormonal Contraceptives and Brain Health Conference
We’ve got a new conference for you to sink your brain into. The Mind the Gap: Hormonal Contraceptives and Brain Health conference breaks up a full conference program into bite-sized sessions that are held bi-weekly from October, 2022 to March, 2023. This virtual conference series will dig into unique aspects of hormonal contraceptives and the examined effects of these hormones on the brain. It will engage researchers, clinicians, community partners, trainees, and policymakers to share research and develop strategies to spotlight the need for consideration of female-specific factors to improve women+’s brain health. The overall objective of this conference is to bring attention to the brain health issues that women+ face and encourage the medical, scientific and commercial communities to address them.
Keep your brain engaged by attending sessions that explore the impact of hormonal contraceptives on mental health, cognition and the central nervos system. Or, check out our workshops about study design, brain imaging, and animal models. We also have a special event about Indigenous health and an Expert Panel that will create a blueprint for the future of research on hormonal contraceptives and women’s health. This conference also includes events tailored to trainees, including a Poster Session, Young Investigator Data Blitz and 4 Trainee / Mentor Sessions that offer students the opportunity to network with their peers and senior faculty.
We’re offering you the opportunity to register for the entire conference, or to pick and choose which individual events you’d like to attend. Check out our registration page for more details.
